![]() There is also an (H) stamped just the way I typed it with the parenthesis, this is in front of the FN marking on the slide. The M is very light and could be something else, the R is very deep and is defenately an R. ![]() There are 3 waffen stamps and 2 eagle over swastika stamps and what looks like MR stamped on the front of the trigger guard. The frame, barrel, and "slide extension" (I am sorry I dont know the correct term) are all serial numbered. The serial number for this pistol is 166,198, my question again is what would the date of manufacture be? I am assuming it is WW2 production because of the Nazi markings, the slide has the Fabrique Nationale Darmes De Guerre Herstal Belgique marking and the Brownings Patent Depose. The spine of the magazine is also waffen marked. the frame is stamped with both markings as is the slide with both markings (waffen and eagle over swastika). I bought a FN 1922 that has the Nazi waffen "WaA140" stamp along with the eagle over a swastika stamp. ![]() I posted a plea for information about my Hi Power, and got some great stuff, so I figured this would be the place to post about todays new purchase. I am not sure if this is the proper place to post a question about my newly purchased FN 1922, but I can not see a place for this model, and I do apologize if I am not using the correct etiquette by posting here. ![]()
